Livelihood Volunteer Launching event conducted at Nyerere square on Saturday 6th February.

After years of training and good work by our ESLO, Ms. Upendo Minja, some of our groups’ teachers (technically called Livelihood Volunteers) have achieved sustainability. Their Saving & Credits groups have in fact been trained and understand the importance of paying stipends to their teachers, in order to continue to use their services.
At the same time our 6 graduated LV, they can be independent, have the opportunity to establish new groups in different areas, and, with the support of the government, they are officially recognized.
