It is the volunteer program for youth to learn and work in organisations in Tanzania and Germany. The volunteer program is meant to give volunteers the opportunity to collect intercultural experiences, share ideas related to community work, how to utilize renewable energies for sustainable energy provision, how to protect the environment and exchange of ideas in mutual practical and theoretical work. The volunteer program is similar to a long-term internship; hence, the role of volunteers is similar to long-term interns. Volunteers are not to be understood as experts. They are young motivated people with individual skills, knowledge and background with an interest in learning and participating in the organisations’ activities in Tanzania and Germany.
