It is USAID funded intervention under Kizazi Kipya Project through Pact Tanzania which was implemented in Dodoma City. It is a violence prevention program for athletic coaches designed to inspire them to teach their young male athletes about the importance of respect for themselves, others, and particularly women and girls. 51 primary school teachers were trained as coaches and cascaded training to boys. Football game was used as approach for gathering boys. 30 primary schools with 7621 boys aged 9 to 14 years old have been reached. The boys reached demonstrate positive behaviours in their schools and at home, and promote rights of children.
