Chibumagwa water project was funded by 8 x 1000 a diretta gestione statale through CAST Italy. The general objective of the project was to contribute to improve the quality of life and health of the population of the village of Chibumagwa and Msakile, by improving access to drinking water. Specifically the project focused on rehabilitatation of a drinking water supply system for the village. The project were successful implemented whereby the water system was successfully rehabilitated, and raise awareness to leaders of water association and within the community on the planning, management and implementation of water projects. About 4,046 inhabitants of the village of Chibumagwa, and 1,100 of Msakile benefited with the project
